Get ready to make family memories as you venture into the fall festivities. We’ve uncovered the most hauntingly good Halloween events and trick-or-treating experiences surrounding Northern California—right near our Woodside Homes communities. 

Anatolia 

This community in Rancho Cordova often has well-decorated homes and a welcoming atmosphere for trick-or-treaters. 

Sunridge Park 

This neighborhood is known for its Halloween spirit! 

Huntington Park 

Huntington Park near Rancho Cordova features some great decorations. 

Gold River 

This neighborhood often gets festive for the season and has some great displays! 

Rosemont 

Near Rancho Cordova, Rosemont is a fun place to visit for trick-or-treating. 

Folsom 

The Broadstone and Empire Ranch areas in Folsom are well known for their decorations and fun trick-or-treating.

Elk Grove 

Elk Grove, another neighboring city, often hosts family-friendly Halloween events and has neighborhoods with decorated houses.

  • The Children’s Museum 
    Who doesn’t love a good museum on a spooky evening? Join in on the fun Halloween night at the Sacramento Children’s Museum. Dress up, trick-or-treat, and more! (Plus, all of the activities may help take the kiddos’ attention away from an all-candy night!) 
  • Halloween Spooktacular 
    Visit the beautiful El Dorado Hills Town Center for a Spooktacular party and chance for some fun. Enjoy trick-or-treating before or after trick-or-treating around your very own neighborhood since the mall stays open late and is a safe place to haunt. 
  • Heartstoppers Haunted House 
    Sacramento’s favorite haunted house is the best place to go for a spooky evening. Enjoy a bunch of haunted areas and one big, spooky storyline for some Halloween frights! (This may be one to head to after the kids have gone to bed!)
